Glamping (a modern term for luxury camping ), is the present way of experiencing a wilderness adventure in leisurely comfort without any of the work. Sit back and relax as the assembling of your tents, the outfitting of the campsite with all of the modern comfortable accommodations, to the preparing of gourmet style meals is all done by our professional staff. We developed the Arizona Luxury Expedition experience specifically for adventurous people looking to travel in an intimate, small-group environment. We can accommodate groups from 2-20 persons. We customize our tours to usually a single family or a small group to assure that each guest receives personalized attention from our staff. There may be situations due to space availability that small groups will need to be combined at the campsite( not to exceed 6 guests in total for the site). The campsites that we utilize are spacious enough, giving all our guests PRIVACY around their own expedition tent.
All of our guides have a multiple years of Arizona guiding experience. Many have hiked hundreds of miles in the Grand Canyon and Sedona as well as all throughout Arizona, and are eager to share their wealth of information, as well as unveiling the secrets that all of these destinations hold. To assure that you have a safe as well as a memorable experience with Arizona Luxury Expeditions all of our guides have extensive wilderness medicine training and hold nationally accredited certifications in Advanced Wilderness First Aid, as well as the more advanced Wilderness First Responder curriculums. Your guides will always be equipped with medical supply packs on all of our activities, as well as being medically prepared in camp. All of us at ALE possess an enthusiasm and passion with Arizona, and we pride ourselves in sharing the natural beauty and the local history with all of our guests.
All of Arizona Luxury Expeditions tents and equipment are supplied by Cabela’s and are top of the line in spaciousness and modern comfort. Cabela's is the Worlds Foremost Outfitter, with the convenience of a store in our own backyard of Glendale; they were a perfect choice for supplying our company with product advisement, as well as the best and most comfortable camping equipment available. Our standard tent per couple is the Outback Lodge Tent, designed for 8 people with a 12’ X12’ floor area and a peak height of 102”; giving you a personal spacious cabin to rest and experience outdoor living at its best. All of the tents will be lavishly outfitted with elevated queen size beds for couples and twin size for individuals, which are dressed with high quality fine linens and blankets, plus decorative floor covering, bedside tables with lighting, and plenty of storage space. Our goal is to furnish each tent with just the right attention to luxury, giving you the feel of a upscale resort in the woods. Additionally, all meals will be offered in a screened dining spaces.
Just About Everything! Lodging with all the amenities and comforts that one would expect in a 4-star resort will also be prepared and awaiting for you upon your arrival at each destination. In addition, we will provide day packs, water bottles, rain ponchos, and hiking poles (if desired ) while on the trails. The tour price includes a constant supply of beverages, along with fresh fruit and snacks available through out the day. Complete breakfast and dinner’s are included in your package with attention to any special dietary needs.
* Please note that any additional excursions such as, helicopter, jeep rides, etc. can be arranged and booked through us, but are subject to additional costs. Information pertaining to all of the additional side trips that are available, along with the costs involved will be available for your review with your pre-trip information packet.
Although most of the equipment needed to enjoy your luxury camping experience will be provided by the staff at A.L.E. some suggestions include bringing items such as a camera, battery powered charging devices for electronics, appropriate outdoor layer clothing to adjust to the varying weather conditions, sturdy footwear both waterproof and supportive for hiking, sunscreen, hats for sun protection and a heavier jacket, hat and gloves suitable for the cooler weather. Brief thunderstorms are common during the late summer and early fall, so rain outerwear is recommended.
All of the meals are prepared by the A.L.E. staff, with special care and consideration given to offer the freshest seasonal varieties of local foods possible. We can accommodate any dietary restrictions or food preferences. Breakfast and Dinner will always be served in camp, Lunch can be enjoyed at camp at your request. Many of our guests enjoy experiencing the local scene by dining at the many restaurants and cafe’s while in Sedona, the Grand Canyon Village, and at the various other destinations when your away from the campsite. Sample breakfast’s menu’s will include fresh fruits, baked goods, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and oatmeal, with fresh juices, coffee, tea and other beverages available. Typical dinner may include grilled steak, chicken and ribs, open fire pan fried Rainbow trout and roasted turkey, all served with fresh vegetables and other delectable side courses. Dessert possibilities include dutch oven cooked cobbler topped with homemade ice cream and whipped cream or warm dutch oven brownies. Let's not forget S'mores by the night time camp fire as a perfect ending. Indulge in the idea that all of the meals will be prepared and served outdoors in some of the most beautiful al fresco settings on earth.
Payment Schedule
An initial 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation tour dates upon receiving an invoice.
Payment within 72 hours is necessary to hold your booking date, otherwise the dates can be made available for others to schedule a tour on the Arizona Luxury Expeditions calendar.
The full payment of the remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to the start of the tour date. A balance reminder will be sent via PayPal.
Any tour that is booked and scheduled to start within 30 days or less will require a full payment and will be nonrefundable.
Arizona Luxury Expeditions recommends the purchasing of Travel Insurance, to help protect your travel investment and travel plans against the unexpected.
Reservations canceled more than 30 days before the start of your tours scheduled arrival date are 100% refundable.
Reservations canceled 30 days or less before your scheduled arrival tour date are 100% nonrefundable.

Our POLICY if we need to Cancel or Alter the Tour
Arizona Luxury Expeditions is 100 % committed to provide you with a comfortable, and safe Glamping experience.
If extreme weather or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control are present prior to or at the time of your tour, and Arizona Luxury Expeditions cannot SAFELY conduct our business at the designated location (Grand Canyon, Sedona, Monument Valley, Zion, and Bryce), there will be an alternate Glamping destination offered for the same time slot. If we are unable to conduct a tour at another location, the tour can be re-scheduled with your original itinerary at no extra cost. The deposit paid would be held towards the rescheduled tour date. We strongly recommend you purchase Travel Insurance.
Be advised that Arizona Luxury Expeditions is a mobile Glamping operator, and the camping sites at each of our tour designated locations are on public ( National Park or Forest Service Land) or private property. We may be subject to alter campsite locations due to circumstances controlled by the owners or management of these areas, if it is deemed unsafe to conduct business by us (A.L.E.) or the stated entities.
